The 2010 Healthcare Conference was held in Las Vegas October 1-2 at the beautiful Red Rock Hotel and Casino. Keynote speaker Dr. Gerry Sikorski, spoke on the implications of the health care reform initiatives on physicians, pointing out the emphasis on prevention and primary care.

One of the goals is to keep as many Americans as possible out of hospitals and facilities, requiring a far better job of prevention and out-patient chronic care than previously.

Dr. Toni Bark from Chicago elaborated on the first-aid she has been providing in earthquake-torn Haiti, using a SCENAR device. The physical healing and stress-relief were profound not only with the Haitians, but also with the volunteers helping them.

SCENAR is an exciting, viable solution to the healthcare crisis. SCENAR alleviates pain and stress and prompts the body's own healing mechanisms. Helping patients heal in shorter amounts of time and experience stress relief will reduce the strain on the overburdened facilities, one of the goals of healthcare reform.

Using SCENAR to reduce stress can be a preventative measure, another goal of the healthcare reform.
