What is SCENAR?

SCENAR stands for Self-Controlled Energy Neuro-Adaptive Regulator. Scenar was designed in the mid-’80s for the Russian Space Research Program to help cosmonauts maintain their health while in space. Scenar is wholistic in nature and an energy-healing technology that aligns and strengthens the natural healing system of the body. In doing this, it promotes a fast recovery from a wide variety of maladies, from simple colds and bruises to auto-immune diseases and degenerative disorders. Scenar devices are low-frequency, adaptive electrical stimulators with two unique features:

  • The shape of the scenar impulse resembles a natural neuro-impulse which allows scenar to TALK to the body.
  • The FEEDBACK feature determines the scenar’s ability to HEAR the body.

Scenar offers many benefits, including:

  • It is highly effective, in roughly 95 percent of cases. (This figure is based on the experience and reports of Russian scenar therapists published in the annual digests scenar-Therapy and scenar-Assessment 1997 – 2007.)
  • It is a non-drug therapy and it is completely safe
  • It is not invasive and not painful
  • It does not have negative side effects or complications
  • It cuts healing time dramatically, by one-half to two-thirds

The EMF-Shielding Blanket Aids Healing

The EMF-shielding blanket is a therapuetic device made as a blanket that has a shielding layer and is designed for treatment and symptom minimization of functional disorders and diseases.

The blanket is effective for safe, self-treatment of anxiety, insomnia, headaches is great for general well-being and an effective recovery support tool as is helps raises the body's resistance.

The blanket works like an electronic capacitor - it has layers of a conductor (steel wool) alternating with a non-conductor (rock wool). This forms a capacitor that can store electrons, creating a regulator of energy and a pain management device at the same time. If the body has lower voltage than the blanket, electrons will flow to the body. According to the Russian inventors and clinicians, the EMF-sheilding blanket creates a temporary and beneficial shield from external EMF's and cocoons the body in a field of positive self-generated radiations.

The blanket (as well as the SCENAR device) works on acupuncture meridians and regulates and unblocks the flow of energy around the body to rebalance electrical charges and energies within our system, thus helping the body to energetically re-integrate itself.

Such an effect can promote and enhance self-regulation.

The 2010 Healthcare Conference was held in Las Vegas October 1-2 at the beautiful Red Rock Hotel and Casino. Keynote speaker Dr. Gerry Sikorski, spoke on the implications of the health care reform initiatives on physicians, pointing out the emphasis on prevention and primary care.

One of the goals is to keep as many Americans as possible out of hospitals and facilities, requiring a far better job of prevention and out-patient chronic care than previously.

Dr. Toni Bark from Chicago elaborated on the first-aid she has been providing in earthquake-torn Haiti, using a SCENAR device. The physical healing and stress-relief were profound not only with the Haitians, but also with the volunteers helping them.

SCENAR is an exciting, viable solution to the healthcare crisis. SCENAR alleviates pain and stress and prompts the body's own healing mechanisms. Helping patients heal in shorter amounts of time and experience stress relief will reduce the strain on the overburdened facilities, one of the goals of healthcare reform.

Using SCENAR to reduce stress can be a preventative measure, another goal of the healthcare reform.

Compromised immune system and SCENAR

A compromised immune system can be a roadblock to health. The S.C.E.N.A.R., Self-Controlled Energo Neuro Adaptive Regulation, was developed by a team of Russian doctors and scientists, based at Sochi University. Led by Alexander Karasev in the late 1970s, this team was the first to achieve repeatable therapeutic treatment using electrical signals to stimulate the immune system.

The body can get accustomed to a stable pathological state, which may have been caused by injury, disease or toxicity. The scenar catalyzes the process to produce regulatory peptides by stimulation of C-fibres for the body to use where necessary. C-fibres, which comprise 85% of all nerves in the body, react most readily to the electro-stimulation and are responsible for the production of neuropeptides and other regulatory peptides. It is these neuropeptides that in turn re-establish the body’s natural physiological state and are responsible for the healing process. Research has shown C-fibers play a role in immune defense.

As these peptides last up to several hours, the healing process will continue long after the treatment is over. The large quantity of neuropeptides and C-fibres in the Central Nervous System can also result in the treatment on one area aiding with other chemical imbalances, correcting sleeplessness, appetite and behavioral problems.

As the SCENAR stimulates the nervous system, it is able to teach the body to heal itself. The device sends out a series of signals through the skin and measures the response. Each signal is only sent out when a change, in response to the previous signal, is recorded in the electrical properties of the skin.

Head scientist Professor Revenko claimed that there were very few illnesses SCENAR could not treat and often cure. Tests conducted in Russia have since shown the Scenar is proves effective in 80% of cases.

SCENAR HEALTH SPONSORS 'TOUR OF DUTY'

Scenar Therapist Leon Colbert will be helping a team of fire-fighters and emergency service workers from the US and Australia stay fit and focused on "The Tour of Duty Run" that starts at the Santa Monica Pier August 12 and ends at "ground zero" on the morning of September 11, 2010. The fire-fighters and emergency service workers are coming together as allies to remember our fallen colleagues, our brothers and sisters, our family.

The Australian team commenced their journey last Friday, Aug. 6 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney with a reception, gifts from sponsors and SCENAR treatments. Some of them ran in a 14km City to Surf run on Saturday. The SCENAR HEALTH team treated Achilles tendons, hamstrings, headaches, abdominal discomfort, muscle tightness and general relaxation treatments and taught them how to treat themselves and each other.

SCENAR HEALTH USA will be supporting them in the US and we call upon SCENAR therapists along their route to donate their services, if possible. You can check out their route at www.tourofduty.com.au or download their iPhone app from iTunes.

An excerpt from their website:
We run to remember them. First and foremost this is our purpose and intent, to honour their sacrifice, respect their courage, and appreciate their commitment to service and devotion to duty. To remember them and their humanity. We also begin this journey with an understanding that so many people have suffered and are suffering to this day, the survivors, the loved ones left behind, the workers involved in reclaiming the World Trade Centre Site, the families, friends and co workers of the passengers and crews of the American Airlines and United Airlines Flights, the emotional and physical scars of this attack are devastating and potentially far more reaching than we can imagine. It has changed our world, irreversibly, forever.

It is our duty to remember what happened on September 11 and reinforce all that is good about humanity.

We also see the run as an opportunity to acknowledge emergency services globally. Every day on every continent people are giving of their lives, risking their lives so our world can be a safer place. The military, police, fire and medical services represent just some of the people that give of themselves, so others may live a better life, their service can never be underestimated.

Our journey begins on August the 12th, we fill our shoes and start to run from the Santa Monica Pier, Los Angeles at 8.46 a.m., we ask you to share our journey, to remember with us, our family, the people that have suffered and are suffering still, and the people globally that have served and will continue to serve to make our world a better place. Share this run, via the web and if we happen to be anywhere near your ballpark, fill your shoes and share the load, run with us and remember.

A message from our CEO - Helen Gracie

I will never forget the tearful hug Dr Toni Bark MD from Chicago gave me when I arrived at our AMURT head quarters in Port Au Prince in Haiti in April 2010. Dr Bark had just returned from a strike team clinic in one of the many make shift tent cities that now dominate the Port Au Prince devastated urban landscape. It was the first time we had seen each other since I had agreed to help her with her request for donated SCENAR devices and to accompany her on the volunteer medical mission.

After the embrace she tearfully explained that she had witnessed an amazing transformation of an elderly man who had been in full body pain since the January 12th earthquake. After she had given him a 6 points on the face treatment, he smiled and told her that he felt normal again.....she then looked me in the eye and said she was so glad I was there - together we would make a big difference to the lives of the Haitian people. Over the next week we treated hundreds of people and constantly saw the rapid transformation SCENAR facilitated. People were relieved of pain and transformed before our eyes.....

Since then, we have been back again in June, identified a local organization that can be trained in SCENAR and develop a local community program enabling Haitian run clinics to treat patients that otherwise would not have any medical help. I am currently working with Alison Thompson ( co-founder of JPHRO in Port Au Prince, Order of Australia recipient and new SCENAR practitioner) and Sarita Wolf ( Director; AMURT Child protection services) to develop ongoing SCENAR therapy programs in Haiti. The next big hurdle we have is to get back to Haiti with a Ritm SCENAR INstitute trainer, so that the programs conform to world's best practice in SCENAR therapy. ( I know my way around the SPORT and can do simple techniques with a pro unit - but we have exhausted my ability now! )

Last weekend at the Australasian SCENAR conference held in Sydney; Australia, I was asked to share my experiences in Haiti and spoke about the importance of volunteering. My hope was to inspire SCENAR practitioners to give back to a community organization in some way or another so that we ensure all people have access to SCENAR as a choice. Within days I received an email with an offer of help!
A heart felt thanks to Bhavani Rhooks - our Victorian trainer who has volunteered to go to Haiti to train both Alison and Sarita. We are hopeful to secure some funding soon to help Bhavani get there - so please email me on helen@scenarhealth.com if you have any ideas on ways to cover her costs of volunteering. She is ready to travel - we just need to figure out how we can get her there!

SCENAR and back pain

Although it may be difficult for your doctor to tell exactly what is causing your back pain, SCENAR has proven effective in reducing and relieving back pain symptoms.

Doctors usually advise people with back pain to stay as active as possible. Resting in bed can actually make your pain worse.

SCENAR treatments given by your doctor or practitioner two-three times per week can eliminate chronic pain over time. For acute pain, expect to receive treatments daily until the pain subsides.

For more information on back pain and its causes check out Consumer Reports Health.

Scenar proves effective as a drug-free alternative

Prescription drug use is up, according to a recent study by medical research at West Virginia University and is "as powerful, addictive and dangerous as heroin." Hospitalizations for poisoning by opioids, sedatives and tranquilizers increased 65 percent from 1999-2006 and is now the second leading cause of unintentional injury death in the U.S.

While several recent high-profile Hollywood celebrity cases have brought the problem to public attention, the rates of unintentional poisoning deaths have been on the rise for more than 15 years. Poisoning has surpassed motor vehicle crashes as the leading cause of unintentional injury death among people 35-54 years of age.

“Deaths and hospitalizations associated with prescription drug misuse have reached epidemic proportions,” said the study’s lead author, Jeffrey H. Coben, M.D., of the West Virginia University School of Medicine. “It is essential that health care providers, pharmacists, insurance providers, state and federal agencies, and the general public all work together to address this crisis. Prescription medications are just as powerful and dangerous as other notorious street drugs, and we need to ensure people are aware of these dangers and that treatment services are available for those with substance abuse problems.”

Scenar Health USA has been involved with a clinical trial of SCENAR in Florida on Pain Management; specifically in its application in the area of drug and alcohol rehabilitation. 14 clients in a 28-day residential treatment program, with complaints of pain, were treated with various severity and location of their pain. After each of the first four sessions, the pain returned to pretreatment levels between sessions and it took five sessions to achieve a decrease in pretreatment pain severity. The client’s pain decreased from a 6 at initiation to a 4 at the last visit following treatment, which represents a 30% overall decrease in pain.

"Based on these preliminary results, we believe that SCENAR is an effective adjunct to the non-narcotic treatment of pain. SCENAR has excellent potential as part of a holistic program for the management of pain, especially chronic pain."- Siobhan Morse, NIFHAS, APRIL 2010.
